hi there,
i thought i'd post this message here so other users can possibly chime in and help out.
UB2 works if i download the Windows version for my PC, but i can't have it work via browser.
with Firefox it jams at the Splash window, message at the bottom is Joining Lobby (blue bar is around 90%):
"An error occured running the Unity content on this page. See your browser JavaScript console for more info. The error was:
SecurityError: Permission denied to access property "SendMessage" on cross-origin object"
with Edge it goes past the Splash window into the Login page,
but independent if i try to login as Guest or with my Pro account,
it gives the same error message, with a bit less specifics:
SecurityError: Permission denied
has anyone had the same problem? has anyone else found an easy fix?
cheers,
f

Re: PC browser version broken
Getting the same error, which is a bummer. Also having issues with the PC downloadable version, can start a game and place a few units and then it just hangs.
Re: PC browser version broken
I was getting the same error. I discovered that when I click the "Play Now In Browser" button it opens a new tab in Chrome and in order to avoid the error I need to close the original tab.
Re: PC browser version broken
wow! how the hell did you discover that?! great job! : D
it works for me as well (on Firefox).
i go to UB2.com in tab A, i click on "Play in your browser", tab B appears, i immediately close tab A, i find myself in the lobby in tab B, without even giving my username and password.
very strange - but it works, so: thanks!
