Programming student interested in any info I can have on UB dev!

Hi, I am currently instructed to choose something i'm interested in and develop something similar. I was looking at creating a turn based strategy system (as I am a huge wc3/KoW player) I am very interested in any information that the developers would allow giving me regarding the gameplay elements of UB2. I am also using Unity and have mucked about with a couple of frameworks but UB2 seems to work a lot better. Thank you for your time!
